2010 Shoe Updates

RRRC has all the latest 2010 shoe updates. Our most recent additions to our inventory includes the updated Asics shoe styles the Kayano, the DS Trainer, and the 2100 series.

The Kayano 16 (the women's color option pictured above), Asics high stability shoe for overpronators, is now more gender specific, by the injection molded Solyte in the forefoot. The Kayano 16 now has Asics newest technological advance the Guidance Line. The Guidance Line adds to the stability technology of the shoe by helping the foot follow a more neutral path. In its previous version, the Kayano had an overlay on the forefoot that tended to cause some irritation for many users. The newest edition no longer has that overlay. And the last update to the Kayano 16 are discreet eyestays, which allow each eyestay to move independently giving a more flexible and comfortable fit.

The newest DS Trainer (the men's color option pictured above), the 15th edition, continues to be built on the DST 6 last that its predecessor was also built on. The main change up to the shoe is a 1/2 ounce weight reduction due to lighter upper materials.

The last updated Asics shoe, now on the 2150 (the men's color option pictured above) in the 2100 series, is by far the best updated out of the series. First it is the lightest model in the 2100 series, with a 1/2 ounce weight reduction since its predecessor. It also has an updated heel collar, its been dropped down a little to avoid irritation on the ankle bone. The 2150 is slightly more stable due to more medial support on the trussic, giving more stability though mid-stance. And the forefoot on the outsole has been changed, with smaller pods on the lateral side which make the 2150 more flexible and have a smoother transition from mid-stance to toe off.

If your currently running in any of the previous editions of any of these Asics shoes, come in today and try out the newest editions. We are sure that you will be happy with the new updates! Share/Save/Bookmark
