New Shoes, New Tights, New Lights, and Holiday Gift Ideas

Its the holidays and RRRC is fully stocked with all your gift essentials.

We have the newest Saucony, Mizuno, and Brooks updates:

The Saucony Triumph 7 (mens' pictured above) with its more beefier sole, to protect the foot more during those long training runs, is also softer, more cushioned in the forefoot, and has a better ride than its previous model.

The Mizuno Rider (the womens' pictured above) and Inspire (the mens pictured below) both were updated. Both have additional padding in the heel collar, giving it a better fit and more cushion, and flex-eyelets, which allow lacing to have a better fit and more natural feel. The Rider is also lighter in weight, close to a lightweight trainer feel. From Brooks the Defyance and Adrenaline have both been enhanced. The Defyance 3 (the womens' pictured above) is still built on the Adrenaline GTS 9 last, which fits a lot of different feet type, but without the medial post. It is more flexible in the forefoot due to deeper flew grooves but still a stable neutral shoe because of the TPU on the medial side and the geometry of the shoe. The Adrenaline GTS 10 (the mens' pictured below) is much softer, more cushioned in the heel because of the decoupled heel, which gives an easier heel strike, and is more flexible in the forefoot. It also has Brooks' latest advanced profile sockliner which gives higher arch feel to the shoe, though it will decrease to fit the arch type if higher arch support is not necessary.

RRRC also now carries mens and womens 2XU Elite tights, along with race and recovery compression items (leggings, arm sleeves, socks, and calf guards). The elite tights are part of 2XU's top of the line compression using superior compression fabric and a dual denier construction, 50 in the front and 70 in the back, for ultimate performance. They are designed for both during and after racing. They allow for improved circulation, giving a faster warmup and recovery by rapidly flushing blood lactates; reduce fatigue and muscle damage by reducing muscle vibrations; and help highten agility and speed.

With day light savings time, we all are faced with running in the dark, whether its early in the morning or in the evening, especially now that it starts to get dark before 5 pm.
